Since these Carbon Filtered Wall Exhaust Fans are very compact, the rough-in opening in the wall is only 25″ X 25″. Hence, the fan uses a powerful 2HP motor, and a 10-Bladed Cast Aluminum Fan Propeller. Especially relevant, the 10-Bladed Propeller and 2HP Motor are necessary to pull air through the 2″ think carbon filter. The fan generates 4000 CFM – which is a lot for a small fan.
